To Whom It May Concern.
Welcome, I wanted to write this letter to you to give you a little background. A letter to welcome you to my little space on the internet. I wanted to introduce myself and let you into my mind a little bit. So let us just dive right in.
It is officially 2021. This year I decided to set goals, do new things, and make some big changes in my life. I planned on doing this last year, and tho I did start the year took me by surprise. Most of the month of January I spent sick, by February COVID-19 had started becoming a thing, in March I lost my job due to the virus. April I went home to Pennsylvania and the year just fumbled on from there. The rest of the year was spent trying to figure things out, stressing and freaking out, like the rest of the world I’m sure. On the plus side, I also spent the year doing great things. I traveled. Importantly I spent much needed time with friends and family. I saved money. I started this blog, and most importantly I found myself again. So here we are 2021 and I am fully ready to chase my dreams and goals.
To start, let us discuss the reason as to why we are here.
I have been wanting to start a blog for a few years now. I even started one a while ago. At that time I let that little insecure part of my mind convince myself that I would not be able to keep up with it, I wouldn’t have enough to write about, and inevitably I would fail. Guess what happened? I told myself I couldn’t do it, I got scared and therefore I didn’t do it. So here I am again. This year I am not going to allow my bad thoughts to consume me and convince myself that I can’t do the things I have wanted to do. Let’s just jump off that cliff of life, not be afraid of failing, and see what wonderful things the world has to offer.
Now, if you have made it this far you may be wondering who I am.
Some of the basic things you may want to know. My name is Jess. and I am from a small farm town in Pennsylvania. Currently, I am 29 years young (turning 30 this year), and still dreaming just as big as I did when I was 12. I have a beautiful Rottweiler named Meraki, she’s my rock, as strange as it sounds. If you want to know more about me then go ahead and head on over to that section of the blog, but for right now I am going to keep it short.
Finally, what do I have to offer you?
What type of stuff will I be writing about? Well, I want to use this blog to document my adventures and passions, and any other good knowledge I come across in life. This way it is all accessible for anyone who may be interested. I have lots of fun info, from travels I have done to Disney, and products and goods I love that I will be sharing. Sometimes I will probably just be talking, to myself or whoever is reading. I want to take the information I learn and try to help people as much as I can.
